Daily Movement Snacks is an application designed to cultivate a healthy interest in physical activity throughout the day. With an array of movements accompanied by detailed descriptions and videos, users can engage in daily exercises to promote overall well-being. The app allows individuals to schedule reminders and set achievable daily goals.
In order to foster a penchant for physical activity, users are encouraged to establish daily movement goals. These goals consist of a daily total and are monitored using a timer that accumulates throughout the day rather than in a single session. It is recommended to dedicate 30 seconds to a few minutes per snack activity per session. The app features two default goals: the resting squat and the passive hang. Users can track progress by advancing the completion bar on the goals tab.
Taking regular movement breaks is advantageous irrespective of one’s profession or lifestyle. Users can anticipate enhancements in mental clarity, mobility, body awareness, coordination, among other benefits.
